As part of the latest quarterly update to our recruitment software, we have completely redesigned the applications tab to provide users with a number of brand new features and enhanced functionality.
The new design, which also offers greater mobile compatibility, provides users with quicker access to key information and vacancy actions helping them to progress candidates more efficiently throughout each stage of the recruitment process.
A new style menu icon has been introduced, to provide users with access to vacancy details and vacancy information from a single list.
This new menu icon will continue to be rolled out across our recruitment software to create a consistent approach to navigation.
The candidate search functionality has been moved to the top of the workflow giving quicker access to this popular feature. The candidate search enables users to quickly find candidates in a vacancy using their name or email address.
To support system users with smaller screens and improve the user experience of those using tablets to process candidates, users can now choose to show or hide the workflow stages as required.
Choosing the hide option minimises the workflow folders creating more space to view candidate information.
The ability to filter candidate applications in a tailored manner, is a newly added feature introduced to our recruitment software.
System users can now filter candidates using a number of standard criteria available within the system such as distance and salary. There is also the option to configure our software to filter candidates using answers to questions used in the application form.
The information displayed within Candidate lists is now dynamic, changing according to which stage of the recruitment process the candidate is at, to provide quicker access to the most relevant information.
For example, when a candidate is in New Responses the candidate’s distance from the role and a link to Google Maps is now included in the list to help users quickly identify candidates who live within a reasonable commutable distance. A link to any previously submitted applications is also now included.
The updated lists also include the ability for users to quickly view any previously submitted applications without having to navigate through different tabs within the software to access the information.
The Quick View screen, which previously only displayed selected application questions ( ie. quick view questions) has been completely redesigned to give quicker access to key information regarding each candidate without having to drill into their profile.
Introducing a number of new tabs and features include the option to seamlessly toggle between a candidate’s quick view answers and their full application form, view their CV (where available) and also view any notes or previously submitted applications
At each stage of the workflow, our software has now been configured to extract the most frequently used actions and prominently display these alongside the main menu navigation. This allows users to filter and progress candidate’s quicker through the key recruitment stages
