On the 9th May, Andy Pierson, will join his brother and 173 other Huddersfield Town Fans on a challenging 282 mile 4 day bike journey from France to Huddersfield to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The route, which starts in Lille and finishes at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield, will commemorate the lives of 6 Huddersfield Town players who were killed during service in WW1 and also marks the 100th Anniversary since the war ended.
Andy, one of the 3 Directors at networx, has no previous experience of cycling long distances but will be required to cycle on average 70 miles each day, culminating in a 87 mile final stretch from Hull via York to the football stadium.
The journey will conclude with a well deserved lap of honour before the clubs last home game against Arsenal!
Fingers crossed Huddersfield Town can seal a victory and ensure the event ends on the ultimate high!
